Two sailings, both leaving Tuan Chau International Port at noon and heading for Lan Ha Bay — the quieter neighbour of Ha Long, where the karsts rise from still green water. One night on board, or two.

The first day is the same on both: boarding at noon, lunch under way, and the Dark & Bright Cave by rowing bamboo boat. The longer journey adds a full day ashore at Viet Hai Village.

Ha Long — Lan Ha — Dark & Bright Cave
Lunch is served as Venus sails deeper into Lan Ha Bay. The cruise anchors in the afternoon for the Dark & Bright Cave by rowing bamboo boat, then swimming off the vessel, a sunset party and the cooking demonstration before dinner. Tai Chi at first light the next morning, kayaking around the boat, brunch, and back at the pier by 10:30.

Discovery Ha Long — Lan Ha Bay
The same first day on the water, with a full day added in the middle: a shared day boat out to Viet Hai, a village a hundred years old, explored by bicycle or on the electric tram — paddy fields, fish massage, and the people who live there, with lunch included. The last morning is Tra Bau, kayaking and brunch.
The difference is a day
- Tender transfer from Tuan Chau International Port, with a safety briefing on board
- Dark & Bright Cave, visited by rowing bamboo boat
- Swimming around the vessel and kayaking at Tra Bau
- Sunset party with snacks, fruit and tea
- Cooking demonstration with the chef, and happy-hour prices at the bar
- Dinner — set menu or buffet, depending on the sailing
- Spa, night squid fishing and the Dong Ho painting workshop in the lobby
- Sunrise and a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck
- Light breakfast, then check out and brunch from 09:30
- A second night at anchor in Lan Ha Bay
- A full day at Viet Hai Village, reached by shared day boat
- The hundred-year-old village by bicycle or electric tram
- Paddy fields, the fish massage, and time with the local people
- Lunch included in the day trip
- Back on board by 15:30, with the same activities as the first day open again

Plans can shift
The itinerary may be changed with or without prior notice, depending on the water level, the weather, or requirements from the government.
Pack light
Bring only the luggage you need for one or two days on board. Anything heavier is best sent back to your hotel.
Wifi on board
Wifi is free during the trip, but the signal can drop as the vessel sails further into the bay and at some overnight anchorages.
